“Do something you love to do so much, you’d do it for free; but do it so well you get paid to do it” Leroy VanDyke. In 1989, I took Leroy’s advice and quit my job as a sales engineer in Silicon Valley to become an auctioneer I made a comfortable income until I retired. Once again, taking Leroy’s advice I tried my hand at narration. After narrating numerous free audio books, I now get paid for that. My first career ended abruptly in a rice paddy a few klicks east of Ben Cat South Vietnam, when as a 2Lt of Infantry I encountered an antipersonnel device. Now narrating audio books from my studio in Florence, Colorado and loving it.
