Diane Havens

Diane Havens is a full time voice actor, part time poet, educator and playwright. She has degrees in Theatre from Montclair State University and Northern Illinois University at which she’s been fortunate enough to study with and act alongside such major talents as Olympia Dukakis and Joan Allen. She spent a couple of years performing off-off Broadway with the Light Opera Company of Manhattan doing Gilbert and Sullivan in repertory. She now specializes exclusively in narration and character voice work. Her passion for audiobooks is evident. Recent narrations include the legal novels “Bad Law” and “Book of Business”, the political economics book “Wired for Survival” and scifi thriller “Fear Principle.” She, in collaboration with acting partner Robert Jadah, has earned the 2009 Voicey Award for Best Voice Team, and the VOICE 2010 Community Service Award.
“Alcestis” by Katharine Beutner, a beautifully moving novel based on the Greek mythological character of that name, is her first title for Iambik.
Represented in NYC by Voice Talent Productions.
