Katie Paterson, of Scottish descent, has lived most of her life in the Midlands.
As a mother of two grown-up children herself, she has an ambition to help keep reading ‘alive’ for children, and was inspired to write The Chronicles of Valonia by a lifelong fascination with the Arthurian period and legends.
