Daniel A. Hoyt's short stories have appeared in The Kenyon Review, Indiana Review, Meridian, and other literary magazines. He received his B.J. and M.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. He grew up in North Reading, Massachusetts, and he has worked at newspapers in Columbia, Missouri; Kansas City, Missouri; La Crosse, Wisconsin; and Binghamton, New York. Dan lives with his wife, Sarah, in Manhattan, Kansas, where he is an assistant professor in the English Department at Kansas State University.
